KB249167: Drag and Drop does not work when creating a report in MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1

SYMPTOM:
When creating a new report in Strategy Developer 9.4.1, Drag and Drop stops working.
 
CAUSE:
This issue happens randomly and is actually a Windows issue where the functionality to drag and drop gets disabled.
 
ACTION:
To confirm if this is the cause, the below steps can be used to enable drag and drop again in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 :

1. Open any folder in Windows
2. Press and hold the left or right mouse button on any file in the folder
3. Press ESC on the keyboard (while still holding the left/right click on the mouse)

This will resolve the issue in Windows as well as in Strategy Developer.
