When using a SAP HANA cluster as a data warehouse, all queries run on the master node instead of being balanced on all nodes in the cluster in MicroStrategy 10

SYMPTOM
When using a SAP HANA cluster as a data warehouse, all queries run on the master node instead of being balanced on all nodes in the cluster in Strategy 10

CAUSE
This is a known issue in Strategy 10 while using a SAP HANA cluster as a data warehouse.

ACTION
This issue has been fixed in Strategy 10 HF1. Apply the hot fix to take advantage of the fix. In addition, the following edit to the registry must be made:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MicroStrategy\DSS Suite\ConnectionLimit] "UsePrepareStatement"=dword:00000001

Registry Modification Warning:
Modifying registry values incorrectly may cause serious, system-wide problems that may require the re-installation of Microsoft Windows. Any edit of the registry is done at the user's own risk. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. If using Microsoft Windows, the user should backup the registry and/ or update an Emergency Repair Disk prior to alterations.
