KB249650: How to add custom HTML5 D3 Visualizations to MicroStrategy Analytics Desktop 10.x

The new Strategy Analytics Desktop supports the use of custom HTML5 D3 visualizations for the new Visual Insight platform. To place a plugin for use with the new Visual Insight, follow the steps below:
 
Windows:

1. Navigate to the Strategy installation directory and go to:
   

   
   Strategy Desktop\code.

   
   
2. If not already available out of the box, create a folder named "plugins". 
3. Place the plugins in the newly created folder.

 
Mac:

1. Right click on the StrategyDesktop.app file and select "Show Package Contents".
2. If not already available out of the box, navigate to Content/Resources/code and create a folder named "plugins". 
3. Place the plugins in the newly created folder.
