KB250857: Message “Error fetching the list of reports from external source” is displayed when using Data Import from an AIX-based intelligence Server 10.0

SYMPTOM

The error message ‘Uh-oh, Error fetching the list of reports from external source’ is displayed when attempting to connect to Facebook /Twitter /Salesforce /Google Analytics /Google BigQuery /Google Drive /Dropbox in Strategy 10.0.x if the Strategy Intelligence Server is on the AIX platform. See the example below:

1. When clicking on one of the sources: “Facebook /Twitter /Salesforce Reports /Google Analytics /Google BigQuery /Google Drive /Dropbox”,  the error will be shown. Take “Google Drive” for example, the error shown below is received:

CAUSE

This issue occurs due to a third party OpenSSL issue.
 

ACTION

This issue was addressed in Strategy 10.1 and above.  Please upgrade to take advantage of this fix.
