This document explains how to start and stop the Enterprise Manager Service using command line in MicroStrategy 10 when Enterprise Manager is installed on Linux/UNIX.

SUMMARY:
This document explains how to start and stop the Enterprise Manager Service using command line in Strategy 10 when Enterprise Manager is installed on Linux/UNIX.
 
DESCRIPTION:
Beginning in Strategy version 10 it is possible to install the Enterprise Manager Data Loader component on Linux/UNIX environments. In cases when Service Manager cannot be used, the Enterprise Manager Service can be started and stopped by using the following commands
 


./mstrctl -s EMService start


./mstrctl -s EMService stop
