SYMPTOM:
When an Intelligent Cube is used as a dataset, the drilling functionality is not available in Visual Insight in Strategy Web. In the image below, note that "Drill" appears grayed out and cannot be selected.
CAUSE:
This is an identified defect in Visual Insight in Strategy Web 10.0.
ACTION:
Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
WORKAROUND:
If possible, create a report from the Intelligent Cube, then create the Visual Insight dashboard. Drilling will be available then.
