SYMPTOM:
 In Strategy Web 10.1, the focus on the text fields in transaction service documents lost when pressing Enter key to finalize Kana/Kanji conversion in Japanese.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Configure the transaction input with the ‘Text Field’ control, as shown in the image below:
  

• Run a transaction service document.
• Input Japanese characters, ‘緊急の用件1’ .
  

• Convert to Kanji.
  

• Finalize the conversion by pressing Enter key. Note that the focus on the text field lost.
  

• Edit the text field again.
  

• Input Hiragana.
  

• Finalize the conversion by pressing Enter key. Note that the focus on the text field lost.
  

• Edit the text field again.
  

•  Input Japanese characters. 
  

• Covert to Kanji.
  

• Finalize the conversion by pressing Enter key. Note that the focus on the text field lost.
  

• Edit the text filed again.
  

• Input number, 1.
  

• Press enter to complete the input message.
  

• Note that the three additional steps (Step4, 5 and 6) are required to input Japanese characters.
   

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 10.1.
 
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed in Strategy 10.2.
