SUMMARY
This technical document covers a know issue with Strategy 10, where creating a Data Load in Operations Manager is not possible because of the error "You need to create and login into at least one post 9.4.1 environment. You can do so in the environment tab in configuration page". This only affects browsers running directly on the Operations Manager machine when Operations Manager is installed on Unix/Linux operating systems.

SYMPTOM
In a Strategy 10 environment, when running Operations Manager installed on a Web Application Server running on Unix/Linux (e.g. RHEL 7 with Tomcat) and accessing Operations Manager through a browser on the same Operations Manager box, the following error appears when trying to create a Data Load:


You need to create and login into at least one post 9.4.1 environment. You can do so in the environment tab in configuration page

CAUSE
This is a known issue, limited to browsers running on the same Operations Manager machine when Strategy Operations Manager is running on Unix/Linux operating systems.

ACTION
This issue has been logged with Strategy Internal reference number DE18378.
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.

WORKAROUND
Connecting to the Operations Manager from any browser outside of the Operations Manager box allows the successful creation of a Data Load.
