"User doesn't have privilege to access Operations Manager. Please contact your administrator" error encountered when trying to connect to environment using Operations Manager via LDAP in MicroStrategy 10.x.

SYMPTOM:
When logging into Operations Manager in Strategy 10.x via LDAP the following error is encountered:

User doesn't have the privilege to access Operations Manager. 
Please contact your administrator.

 
CAUSE:
This issue is a known issue in Strategy 10.x
 
ACTION:
This issue was reviewed by our Technology team for feasibility and will not be scoped for a code fix in any upcoming Strategy release.
 
WORKAROUND:
Users can be granted the Operations Manager privileges at the User or Group level.
