KB263730: Data Load fails due to an ODBC Error in MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise 10.0 GA when using SQL Server as a statistics and Enterprise Manager warehouse

SYMPTOM:
Data loads on Strategy 10 GA will fail with the errors as seen in the EM Migration Trace below:

Similar entries are being logged into the MAEntMgr.xml log for every column observed.  This can be seen below:

This error is repeated for TABLE, HIERARCHY and REPORT. This can be seen in the DSSErrors.log:

CAUSE:
Due to a product defect the database user name for the Statistics / Enterprise Manager warehouse must match the database name when the warehouse is in Microsoft SQL Server.
 
WORKAROUND:
Set the database user account for the Statistics / Enterprise Manager warehouse to match the database name.
 
SOLUTION:
This has been fixed in Strategy 10.1. Upgrade to the latest platform release or feature release version of Strategy to take advantage of this fix.
