KB263753: When trying to drill up in a graph in a document in MicroStrategy Web 10 Hotfix 1, the error “Not supported for RW” shows for certain attributes.

SUMMARY:
This issue has been classified as a defect by Strategy. The impact is from the Strategy 10 Hotfix 1 product when trying to drill up in a graph in a document in Strategy Web. A solution/code fix for this issue is not available in current releases but is being reviewed for a future Strategy release.
 
SYMPTOM:
When trying to drill up in a graph in a document, the error “Not supported for RW” shows for certain attributes.

“Not supported for RW”

1. Create a document with the "Category Sales Report" dataset.
2. Add the report as a bar graph in the Detail Header section.
3. Run the document in Web in Editable mode.
4. Try to drill up to Category.

1. Notice the error "Not supported for RW" shows.

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 10 Hotfix 1.
 
ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Web 10.2. Take advantage of upgrading for a fix.
