KB267437: 'Unable to get property 'children' of undefined or null reference' error appears when drilling within a grid in Report Services document with Presentation mode in MicroStrategy Web

SYMPTOM:
 In Strategy Web 10.1, 'Unable to get property 'children' of undefined or null reference' error appears when drilling down in a grid in Report Services document with Presentation mode.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue with the Strategy Tutorial project:

• Create a dataset report with Category, Subcategory and metrics.
• Create a Report Services document based off the dataset report.
• Remove Subcategory from the document grid as shown in the image below:
  

• Run the document in Presentation mode.
• Drill down from Category by clicking 'Books' cell.
  

• Note that 'Unable to get property 'children' of undefined or null reference' error appears.
  

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 10.1
 
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed with Strategy 10.2. Upgrade to take advantage of the fix.
