KB269421: 'Permission denied' error occurs when running VI dashboard with text field, which is embedded in an iframe.

SYMPTOM:
 In Strategy Web 10.x, 'Permission denied' error occurs when running VI dashboard with text field, which is embedded in an iframe as shown in the image below:

 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a VI dashboard and add Text field as shown below:
  

• Specify URL to run the VI dashboard in iframe.

• Run a html page with the embedded iframe.
• Note that 'Permission denied' error is displayed.
   

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 10.x.
 
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed with Strategy 10.2. Upgrade to take advantage of the fix.
