This document shows one known issue that "Could not find project [project name] on [mobile server name/IP]:0" error appears when attempting to connect to project when device locale is set French (Canada) in MicroStrategy Mobile client 10.1.

SUMMARY:
This document shows one known issue that "Could not find project [project name] on [mobile server name/IP]:0" error appears when attempting to connect to project when device locale is set French (Canada) in Strategy Mobile client 10.1. This is a known issue. Adding locale French (Canada) to mobile server and recreating mobile configuration could be a workaround.

SYMPTOM:
"Could not find project [project name] on [mobile server name/IP]:0" error appears when attempting to connect to project when device locale is set French (Canada) in Strategy Mobile client 10.1

3. Administrator's metadata language is set to non-default language French (Canada) in user preferences as below:

Could not find project Project_Frech_France on 10.27.72.168:0

CAUSE:
This is known issue in Strategy Mobile Client 10.1. Strategy Mobile client connects to mobile server/Intelligence Server with project name saved in mobile configuration and device locale. In this case, project name in mobile configuration is in French (France) but device locale is French (Canada). In metadata , the project name for locale French (Canada) is in French (Canada) instead of French (France). Thus, the connection fails.

ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Mobile 10.2. Take advantage of upgrading for a fix.

WORKAROUND:
Recreate the mobile configuration by following steps below:
1. Insert the following line to /WEB-INF/xml/locales.xml in Mobile server installation folder to add the French (Canada) locale:
<locale locale-id="3084" language="fr" country="CA" desc="Français (Canada)" desc-id="" char-set="UTF-8" char-set-excel="UnicodeLittle" codepage="65001" codepage-excel="1252" help-locale-id="1036"/>

2. Restart mobile server and recreate mobile configuration. In mobile configuration page, if web browser language is set French (Canada), project name in French (Canada) should show up as shown below:
