SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Enterprise Manager, ‘102. Recent Sessions, Users’ report shows only the data within 24 hours even if selecting the date a month ago as shown in the image below:
CAUSE:
This behavior is by design. ‘102. Recent Sessions, Users’ report shows the data within 24 hours or the data which is not migrated to Enterprise Manager Warehouse. This report data is retrieved from IS_SESSION_MONITOR table, and having the where clause defined in the report prompt, however, IS_SESSION_MONITOR view is designed as follows:
WHERE ST.DISCONNECTTIME < ST.CONNECTTIME OR ST.DISCONNECTTIME IS NULL OR ST.RECORDTIME >= LU.IS_WIN_END OR ST.RECORDTIME >= DATEADD(HH,-24,GETDATE()) GROUP BY ST.SESSIONID
