This document shows known issue that Canada map cannot display in image layout in MicroStrategy Mobile server 10.1. This is fixed in MicroStrategy Mobile server 10.3. The workaround is to modify CanadaMapCoords.html file, remove src=" " and replace #myMap with #regionHome1.

SUMMARY:
This document shows known issue that Canada map cannot display in image layout in Strategy Mobile server 10.1. The workaround is to modify CanadaMapCoords.html file, remove src=" " and replace #myMap with #regionHome1.

SYMPTOM:
After following steps outlined inKB44752 and KB42338 to enable the Canada Map for image layout in Strategy Web and Mobile 10.1, Canada map shows up in Strategy Web but not in mobile device with error message as shown below:


The background image cannot be found

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Mobile Server 10.1.

ACTION:
This issue is fixed in Strategy Mobile Server 10.3. Upgrade to this release to take advantage of the fix.

WORKAROUND:
Original CanadaMapCoords.html is as shown below:

Edit CanadaMapCoords.html, remove src=" " and replace #myMap with #regionHome1 as shown below:
