KB275767: Custom Subtotals do not appear in the page-by drop down for a report in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.4.1

SYMPTOM:
Users can create custom subtotals in a report in Strategy Developer 9.4.1. If an attribute is placed on the page-by section of the report, the custom subtotal becomes an element of the attribute visible in the page-by dropdown, as shown below:

This will also appear as expected in Strategy Web 9.4.1 but it will not in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1, as shown below.

The custom subtotal is still seen at the bottom of the grid, however.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• In Strategy Developer 9.4.1, create a new report with one metrci and two attributes.
• Add one of the attributes to the page by
• Exeucte the report.
• Go to Data > Subtotal > Advanced > New. 
• Create a custom subtotal based off of the current metric. Click OK with all the default values.
• Select 'New Custom Subtotal' as an available subtotals. As shown below.
  

• Expand the attribute in the page-by, notice 'New Custom Subtotal' is listed.
• Run the report in MicroStratgy Web. Expand the attribute in the page-by. Notice 'New Custom Subtotal' is also listed.
• Run the report in Strategy Mobile. When the page-by is expanded 'New Custom Subtotal' is not listed. The New custom Subtotal is still seen at the bottom of the grid, however.

 
CAUSE:
This is an identified defect in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1.
 
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
