This Knowledge Base article describes a known issue that the grid header covered by a text box is still clickable when running a Reports Services document with MicroStrategy Mobile 10.1 for Android. This is fixed in MicroStrategy Mobile for Android app 10.3. Upgrade to this release to take advantage of the fix

SYMPTOM: 
The grid header covered by a text box is still clickable when running a Reports Services document with Strategy Mobile 10.1 for Android
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  • In Strategy Web, create a report with an attribute Category.
  • Convert the report to a Report Services document.
  • Right click the grid header "Category" and open "Edit Links" dialog, select a document for the option "Run this report or document" to link the current document to the other document, as shown below:

  • Insert a text box "Cover" to cover the grid header, as shown below:

  • Save the document.
  • Run the document with Android App, click on the "Cover" text box, note that it still open the linked document. 

 
CAUSE: 
This is a known issue with Strategy Mobile for Android App 10.1.
 
ACTION: 
This is fixed in Strategy Mobile for Android app 10.3. Upgrade to this release to take advantage of the fix.
