SUMMARY
This document explains how to change the Enterprise Manager port for the 10.x Enterprise Manager Service when no GUI is available. This must be done directly by modifying the MSIReg.reg file.
INTRODUCTION
In Strategy 10 Secure Analytics Platform, the Enterprise Manager Console is no longer available. Instead, the Enterprise Manager Data Loader Service is responsible for the connection to the Enterprise Manager Warehouse and Statistics Repository in order to perform the data load.
The Enterprise Manager Data Loader Service can be run in both Unix and Windows systems and the port can be configured from Strategy Service Manager as shown below:

In case Strategy 10.x Secure Analytics Platform is running on a Unix/Linux machine that has no GUI available, the steps below can be followed in order to configure the port for Enterprise Manager Warehouse and Statistics Repository.
NON-GUI CONFIGURATION STEPS
1) Stop the Strategy Intelligence Server and the Enterprise Manager Data Loader Service.
2) Navigate to the Strategy installation home folder (e.g. /var/opt/MicroStrategy/
3) Create a backup of the file MSIReg.reg.
4) Edit the MSIReg.reg file and search for the string: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroStrategy\Enterprise Manager". The information will look as follows:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroStrategy\Enterprise Manager] "DeleteStaging"="true" "ExecuteInsert"="true" "ForceSeparateDB"="false" "HomePath"="/opt/MicroStrategy/EnterpriseManager" "InstallPath"="/opt/MicroStrategy/EnterpriseManager" "LogFilePath"="/opt/MicroStrategy/EnterpriseManager" "ServicePort"="9999" "UseMultiprocess"="true" "UseRemoteService"="true"
