This document addresses a known documentation error in MicroStrategy 10.0 and 10.1 ReadMe which incorrectly state that Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 is certified as an Operating System for MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server. In 10.2 ReadMe, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are NOT listed as a certified or supported Operating System for MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server 10.2. And, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are supported in MicroStrategy 10.3 and newer releases. 

SUMMARY
This document addresses a known documentation error in Strategy 10.0 and 10.1 ReadMe which incorrectly state that Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 is certified as an Operating System for Strategy Narrowcast Server. In 10.2 ReadMe, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are NOT listed as a certified or supported Operating System for Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.2. And, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are supported in Strategy 10.3 and newer releases. 
 
SYMPTOM: 
In Strategy 10.0 ReadMe, Windows Server 2012 is listed as certified and supported for Strategy Narrowcast Server:

In Strategy 10.1 ReadMe, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are listed as certified and supported for Strategy Narrowcast Server:

CAUSE: 
This is a known documentation error in Strategy 10.0 and 10.1 ReadMe. Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are NOT supported as an Operating System for Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.0 and 10.1. 
 
ACTION: 
This documentation error is fixed in the Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.2 ReadMe, where Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are NOT listed as a certified or supported Operating System for Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.2. Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are supported for Narrowcast Server in Strategy 10.3 and newer releases.
