SUMMARY:
This article describes a known defect regarding running a Command Manager script with HTML. The result is raw HTML shown as the project status. This is not the behavior in Strategy 9.4.1.
SYMPTOM:
When HTML is used within a project status set via Strategy Command Manager, the raw HTML including the tags are displayed rather than rendering the HTML correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1) Create a text file called “Status” to be used by Command Manager with the below text inside.
"<br/><STRONG><MSTRPSHEADER><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Project Status</FONT></MSTRPSHEADER><P>Last Database Update: <font color=blue>01/11/2016</font></STRONG><HR noShade SIZE=1>"
2) Run the below Command Manager script to alter the project status for Strategy Tutorial.
ALTER PROJECT CONFIGURATION STATUS "C:\Status.txt" SHOWSTATUS TRUE STATUSONTOP TRUE IN PROJECT "Strategy Tutorial";
3) Check in Strategy Developer and Web and notice the status shows the raw HTML tags instead of applying them to render the HTML correctly.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Command Manager version 10.x.
ACTION:
Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
WORKAROUND:
Using Strategy Developer 10.x, edit the Project Status through "View HTML Source...".

Input the desired HTML for display in Strategy Developer and Web 10.x.
