How to change upper limit of .dwg file size in multi-media widget in Strategy Mobile 10.2 Hotfix1?
In Strategy Mobile 10.2 and lower, maximum size of .dwg file that is allowed to download in multimedia widget is hardcoded with 50 MB. Starting from 10.2 Hotfix1, this limit in mobile client side is up to 2 GB and limit in Mobile Server and Intelligence Server side can be customized by following steps below:
1. If mobile server is ASP, change the following registry to increase the memory limit used for download. Otherwise, mobile server will be out of memory during download. The default limit is 256 MB.
32-bit Windows and Linux:

Note: Internal test shows it is necessary to increase this limit to 4000 MB in order to download file about 500 MB.
2. if mobile server is JSP, i.e. Tomcat, change the maximum memory pool. The path is:
Tomcat Monitor>Config>Java>Maximum memory pool.

3. Go to Mobile Server Administrator Page>Default properties>Request timeout, set the value to 9999 in case mobile client times out during download as shown below:
Registry Modification Warning:
Modifying registry values incorrectly may cause serious, system-wide problems that may require the re-installation of Operation System. Any edit of the registry is done at the user's own risk. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. If using Microsoft Windows, the user should backup the registry and/ or update an Emergency Repair Disk prior to alterations. If using Linux, the user should backup registry file MSIReg.reg under Strategy install.
