SUMMARY:
This document shows one known issue that "Object with name 'ID' and type 'Attribute Form' already exists in the destination folder" error message appears when attempting to upgrade metadata to Strategy 10.2. The root cause is the name of out of box ID form category is changed and there is another new attribute form with name 'ID'. Change name of ID to other name would resolve this issue.
SYMPTOM:
"Object with name 'ID' and type 'Attribute Form' already exists in the destination folder" error message appears when attempting to upgrade metadata to Strategy 10.2 as below:

Object with name 'ID' and type 'Attribute Form' already exists in the destination folder
2016-02-16 06:59:11.001 [HOST:VERO102][PID:6508][THR:5520][MD Update][Info][0x000003BC] Folder 'Form Categories' already contains an object with a name 'ID' and type 'Attribute Form'.

During upgrade, Strategy attempted to replace ID1 with OOTB ID form. If the replace action was successful, there would had been two attribute forms which both are named ID in Form Categories folder. Since Strategy doesn't allow to have two objects with same name in same folder, this replace action failed and error "Object with name 'ID' and type 'Attribute Form' already exists in the destination folder" pop up.
ACTION:
1. Go to Strategy Developer>Schema menu>Form Categories.
2. Edit ID and name it to ID2 as shown below:

3. Upgrade project in Strategy Configuration Wizard. ID1 will be replaced with OOTB ID and its name will be changed to ID.

4. Go to Form Categories. Change ID to ID1 and ID2 to ID.
The Strategy Internal Reference Number for the issue discussed in this technical note is DE28832.
