SYMPTOM:
Strategy 10.2 Mobile Hotfix 1 freezes on iPhone when users enter an invalid email address in a text field with Email Address validation enabled in Configure Transaction.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a transaction report with simple Insert SQL statement.
• Insert Dynamic text boxes to the document template and configure transaction on them.
• In Configure Transaction, select Email Address for Validation.
  
  

• Save the report services document and execute it on iPhone against Strategy 10.2 Mobile Hotfix 1.
• Enter an invalid email address such as “test”. The following warning message will be returned. The mobile application then freezes and both the Cancel button and the Continue button don't work.
  
  

• In Strategy Web and iPad against Strategy 10.2 Mobile Hotfix 1, users can click on Cancel or Continue to update the email address.

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue of Strategy 10.2 Mobile Hotfix 1.
 
ACTION:
This is fixed in Strategy Mobile application 10.4. Upgrade to this release to take advantage of the fix.
