• Strategy

This Knowledge Base document describes how to create an Enterprise Manager Project in MicroStrategy 10.x using a response file on Linux.

SYMPTOM:
When starting the Strategy Configuration Wizard on Linux via command line (mstrcfgwiz-editor), there is no option "Create Enterprise Manager project":

Only the GUI has this option.

ka04W00000148uxQAA_0EM4400000029AA.jpeg

PRE-REQUISITES:
-DSN for the Enterprise Manager warehouse repository must be created in this Linux environment.
-Enterprise Manager Repositories option from mstrcfgwiz-editor command in terminal must be completed using the DSN created before.
-Set up the Enterprise Manager Repository; KB272905.
-Reconfiguration of the Intelligence Server to log Statistics to the Enterprise Manager repository configured must be completed.

ACTION:
1.-Create an empty text file, where you will copy the following parameters:

[EMProjectHeader]EMProject= EMProjectEncryptPwd=EMProjectDSSUser=EMProjectDSSPwd=EMProjectPkgFile=EMProjectDSNName=EMProjectDSNUserName=EMProjectDSNUserPwd=EMProjectDSNPrefix=

2.-Then assign the desired values if applicable to the parameters inserted before, based on the following definitions:
