This Technical Note explains how to connect to HortonWorks Hadoop Sandbox with Strategy Desktop.
DESCRIPTION:
In order to connect to HortonWorks Hadoop Sandbox from Strategy Desktop follow the steps bellow:
1) Download and Install Strategy Desktop from Strategy Download page.
https://software.microstrategy.com/Download/index.aspx
2) Download a Hortonworks VM from the link bellow.
http://hortonworks.com/products/hortonworks-sandbox/
3) Create connection to Hadoop following the instructions in the video bellow.
