SYMPTOM
In Strategy 10.1 and 10.2, when a user is disabled and later re-enabled, it may be seen that the Distribution Services subscriptions belonging to that user are lost from the Subscription Monitor in Developer (and subscriptions list in Web). Additionally, email addresses belonging to that user are lost from the user's properties. In Strategy versions 10.0 and prior, the subscriptions belonging to a disabled user would not be displayed in the Subscription Monitor, but would reappear if the user was re-enabled.
CAUSE
In Strategy 10.0 and prior the subscriptions belonging to a disabled user did not show up in the Subscription Monitor, they still existed in the Metadata. In versions 10.1 and 10.2, subscriptions are marked as Invalid when the associated user is disabled. Invalid subscriptions are cleaned up on a daily basis at the time of the Intelligence Server compliance check (causing these subscriptions to be deleted).
This behavior is a known defect in Strategy versions 10.1 and 10.2.
ACTION
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.3 and later versions so that subscriptions are not deleted when the associated user is disabled.Upgrade to Strategy 10.3 or later to take advantage of the fix.
The Strategy internal reference number for this issue is DE25859.
