SUMMARY:
The issue described in this document has been classified as a defect by Strategy. Users may receive out of compliance error messages because of the privileges "Mobile save to My Reports" and "Mobile save to Shared Reports" in Strategy 10.2 and later releases. A solution/code fix for this issue is not available in current releases, but is being reviewed for a future Strategy release. A workaround is provided in this document.
DESCRIPTION:
In Strategy 10.2 and later releases, users may receive the following out of compliance error message:
This is a notification that your Strategy implementation may be out of compliance with your software license agreement. The number of named users licensed for at least one product has been exceeded. In 14 days, end users will receive an out of compliance warning message.

CAUSE:
This is an identified defect in Strategy 10.2 and later releases. The privileges "Mobile save to My Reports" and "Mobile save to Shared Reports" were removed in Strategy 10.2 and later releases. Mobile save functionality was never actually introduced in the mobile client as discussed in KB44188, so these privileges were removed from the User Manager interface in Developer. However, these privileges were not removed from the metadata so users still have these privileges and these privileges use up a Strategy Mobile Server license.
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed in Strategy Developer 10.5. Update to that version to take advantage of this fix.
WORKAROUND:
These privileges still exist in the User Manager in Web. The User Manager in Web can be accessed using a URL such as the ones below.
