SYMPTOM
When using the Strategy License Manager 9.x-10.x on AIX Operating Systems to generate an activation file, it may close unexpectedly. No errors are written to the logs but depending on system settings a core file and a java hotspot error log may be generated.
It's also possible this crash can occur while installing Strategy 9.x-10.x if the option to automatically generate the activation file at the end of the installation is selected.
