SYMPTOM:
When using the text code {&PROMPT1&} in a document in Strategy Developer version 9.x, users are allowed to exclude the attribute name from Attribute Element Prompts but not from Hierarchy Prompts:
CAUSE:
Currently, there is an option for Attribute Element Prompts for Auto Text:
"Show Attribute Name for Attribute Element Prompts"
Here, it can be specified how to display the attribute name for attribute element list prompts in the document.
The available options are:
Yes - to show the attribute names.
No - to omit the attribute names.
Repeated - to repeat the attribute name for each prompt answer.`
There is no option for Hierarchy Prompts. This is a known limitation and an Enhancement Request has been logged to include this option in a future Strategy release.
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of the issue. Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
