Using MicroStrategy Command Manager 9.x and 10.x in command line mode fails with error "Invalid Project Source Name."

SYMPTOM:

A user is trying to use Strategy Command Manager 9.x and 10.x in command line mode and uses the -n parameter in the command to specify the project source, for example:
Sql
mstrcmdmgr -n "DWH Production" -f daily_load.scp -u Administrator -p adminpass

The execution fails and the following error is recorded in the output file:

Sample Code/Error
5/19/09 2:24 PM Invalid Project Source Name.
5/19/09 2:24 PM To display help, use the -help option.

CAUSE:

There error occurs because no 3-tier project source with the exact same name as used in the -n parameter exists on the Command Manager machine. In the example above, a 3-tier project source named "DWH Production" has to exist, otherwise the error will occur.

ACTION:

Create a 3-tier project source with the required name. The project source can be created by using the Strategy Configuration Wizard.

The Strategy Configuration Wizard can also be run in command line mode on Unix/Linux OS (for details please see the Installation and Configuration Guide, section "Configuring Strategy Using Command Line Tools”).
