SUMMARY:
This technical note documents a behavior observed when trying to prevent a user from seeing the Change Journal for the project objects.
SYMPTOM:
After unchecking the "Audit Change Journal" privilege for a specific user, one should expect to be unable to see the Change Journal for any of the project objects. However, user is still able to see any object Change Journal.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
These are the steps to follow in order to reproduce the issue:
1. Disable "Audit Change Journal" privilege for one of the project users.
2. Log into the project with the user from the previous step.
3. It is still possible to view all change journal for any object.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Developer 10.4 which is currently under investigation.
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed in Strategy 11.0 and 10.4.8. Please upgrade to take advantage of the fix when they are released.
