In Visual Insight, double byte characters like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai can not display after Visual Insight is exported to PDF in MicroStrategy 10.3.

DESCRIPTION:
In Visual Insight, double byte characters like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai can not display after Visual Insight is exported to PDF in Strategy 10.3.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create a new Visual Insight and add excel file with Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai language as external data.
  2. Make sure all the fonts needed are installed.
  3. Check embed font option.  
  4. Select Arial Unicode MS for all the headers and values.
  5.  Export to PDF. Only English can display.

Notice: The issue does not occur for report.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue.
