SYMPTOM:
The following error occurs when users try to edit the Report Data Options for any report:
Item 'Mobile' cannot be found
If the DSS Report Data Options Scope trace is enabled the following error message will get displayed:
System Error 0x80040005 (2147745797): Need to run the object to perform this operation
CAUSE:
This issue is caused by a corrupted configuration object which will prevent users from modifying the report data options of any report in the entire Metadata.
ACTION:
In order to fix this issue, the administrator must run the Metadata Update Utility (located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\MicroStrategy\MDUpdateUtil.exe) and update the metadata configuration as well as all the projects in the metadata.
