KB308792: In MicroStrategy Web 10.x, users get the request token invalid error when importing data from Twitter

SYMPTOM:
Users get the following error message when trying to import data from Twitter to Strategy Web 10.x:
The request token for this page is invalid. It may have already been used, or expired because it is too old. Please go back to the site to application that sent you here or try again; it was probably just a mistake.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Follow KB204734 and configure Twitter connector for data import in Strategy Web 10.x.
2. When importing data from Twitter, users may get the following error message:
   The request token for this page is invalid. It may have already been used, or expired because it is too old. Please go back to the site to application that sent you here or try again; it was probably just a mistake.

 
CAUSE:
One possible cause of the problem is that the Strategy Intelligence Server machine doesn’t have network access to Twitter over HTTPS. 
 
ACTION:
To import data from Twitter, users need to make sure both the web server machine and the Intelligence Server machine can access Twitter (api.twitter.com) over HTTPS (port number: 443) directly. In addition, Strategy 10.1 doesn’t support proxy communication between Intelligence Server and Twitter.
