The following provides step by step instructions to remove the My Page default start page from the drop down

The following provides step by step instructions to remove the My Page default start page from the drop down seen above:

  • Navigate to the startPagesPicker.xml file in the Strategy Web directo ..\WEB-INF\xml\config\
  • Edit the startPagesPicker.xml file and modify the My Page shortcut node.  Add name with value myPage, as seen below:

          <event XMLmerge_id="1" event-id="com.Strategy.web.app.beans.EnumServletEvents.WebEventOpenMyPage"/> 
    </shortcut>

  • Save changes to the file.
  • Launch the Web Customization Editor.
  • Create a new plugin and give it a meaningful name.
  • Click on Strategy Web Configuration to expand the hierarchical tree.
  • Navigate to System Pickers -> startPagePicker.
  • Right click on myPage (mstrWeb.14510) and select Delete.

  • Restart the Web Server for the change to take effect.
