KB30906: Security filter changes are not applied immediately to MicroStrategy Distribution Services deliveries when the subscriber inherits the security filter from a User Group created with MicroStrategy Web Administrator

SYMPTOM
Security filter changes are not applied immediately to Strategy Distribution Services deliveries when the subscriber inherits the security filter from a User Group created with Strategy Web Administrator:

The Distribution Services delivery does not reflect the security filter change right after the user is assigned to the User Group created with Strategy Web Administrator:

CAUSE
In general, when a user subscribes to a Strategy Distribution Services delivery, a cached Scheduler session is created for the user:

The behavior only occurs when the User Group was created using Strategy Web Administrator and the user was assigned to this group while a cached Scheduler session was active for the user. This cached session reads the previous User Group definition. This Scheduler session times out after 300 seconds by default.

ACTION
This is expected, however the Scheduler session times out after 5 minutes (300 seconds) by default. Let the cached Scheduler session for the user time out. Any Strategy Distribution Services deliveries related to this user will create a new Scheduler session which will reflect the security filter change from that point forward:
