SYMPTOM:
Users may use Folder Pre-cache on Strategy Mobile to create caches for reports and documents in a folder when the mobile device is internet accessible. In this case, user can optimize the usrer experience and even use Strategy Mobile app in the offline mode when there is no internet connection.
However, the images in image viewer widget cannot be downloaded when using folder pre-cache.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1) Create a document with image viewer widget
2) Put this document into a folder
3) Set this folder as the home screen and enable pre-cache option in mobile configuration page
4) Deploy the link and open Strategy app on mobile devices
5) Wait until the document get the cache
6) Turn to Offline mode, execute the document and find the images are not downloaded
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Mobile 10.4
ACTION:
Strategy will continue investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
