The issue described in this document has been classified as a defect by Strategy. The issue occurs in Strategy 10.4 when a user logs in for the first time. A code fix is available in current releases.

DESCRIPTION:
In Strategy 10.4, when a user logs in for the first time, the ACLs of the objects in his/her profile folder are overwritten. The ACLs are overwritten with the ACL specified for the user's profile folder.

This ACL is recursively applied to all folders within the user's profile, such as "My Reports", and all objects within these folders.

After it's finished, instance will go back to previous state. e.g. if instance state is running before resizing, then it will go back to running afterwards.

ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in Strategy 10.4 HF2 and 10.5. Upgrade to one of these versions to take advantage of the fix.
