SYMPTOM: 
When attempting to access the Strategy Web Services 9.x URL in a Windows environment, a user may receive the following error message:

Sample Code/Error
Server error in '/StrategyWS' Application
Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.
The value of the property 'type' cannot be parsed. The error is: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft Web Services2, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
 
CAUSE: 
A possible cause for this issue can be a faulty installation of the Microsoft .NET framework in the machine environment where Strategy Web Services is installed.
 
ACTION:
Repair the .NET framework version on the machine where Strategy Web Services is installed.
 
Current and past versions of the .NET framework can be found from the Microsoft website.  Refer to the Strategy readme for the supported .NET Framework versions.
