This technical note shows how to embed the Strategy Web API Javadocs in Ecilpse for easy and rapid access on the Java View Editor inside Eclipse.

- The Strategy Web API javaDocs is installed with the SDK product by default under \MicroStrategy\SDK\docs\ReferenceFiles
- Locate and copy the path to the folder for this example we will use "D:\Program Files\MicroStrategy\SDK\docs\ReferenceFiles"
- In Eclipse right click on the Strategy project and select "Properties"
- Select "Java Build Path" on the left pane and switch to the "Libraries" tab.
- For each of the Strategy JAR files in this tab, expand the JAR information and select "Javadoc location" click on edit
- After clicking on Edit select browse to navigate to the folder with the Strategy API Javadocs
- Repeat the above steps for all the Strategy JAR files. Tip: After browsing to the folder with the Javadocs in the first JAR file we can copy and paste the folder location to all the other JAR files
After completing all the JAR files the Strategy Javadocs will appear in the editor.
