"Invalid column name" error message appears when executing a report using a transformation in MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.x and 10.x

SYMPTOM:
Invalid SQL is generated in a report using a transformation causing the error:

Sample Code/Error
Invalid column name

By looking at the SQL generated by the report, a column that was not created in an intermediate pass is queried by another intermediate pass or the final pass of the report:

CAUSE:
The attribute is no longer mapped to the transformation table, therefore the transformation table contains an invalid reference, as shown below.

The Month attribute  appears to be mapped correctly to the transformation table, however when verifying the attribute definition, the transformation table appears unchecked.

ACTION:
One of the objects has an incorrect definition, modify the transformation to point to the correct table or check the transformation table in the attribute definition. The schema must be updated after any of these changes.
