MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager dataload fails with the error "Network: failure to communicate with MicroStrategy Intelligence Server"

SYMPTOM
Strategy Enterprise Manager dataload fails with the following error:

ka04W000000Oh65QAC_0EM440000002B2E.jpeg

Data loading has failed!
Network: Failure to communicate with Strategy Intelligence Server.

The dataload does not fail immediately upon starting and fails after the dataload runs for a period of time.

CAUSE
This error can be seen when there is a large amount of data being transferred and the Strategy Enterprise Manager dataload runs for a long time and exceeds the User Session Idle Time.

The dataload can take a long time when users have the dataload options such as 'Update Folder Paths' and 'Repopulate relate tables' checked to run along with normal dataloads or if the dataload is being performed over a very large window.

ACTION
Increase the user session idle time on the Strategy Intelligence Server Configuration editor, as shown below. The default value is 600 seconds. Increase it to a suitable value depending on the duration of the dataload.
