KB31588: "The Server Definition was not loaded correctly, this could be because there is a time difference between your Intelligence Server and your Database Server" error occurs when performing a data load in MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager

SYMPTOM:
Using the Strategy Enterprise Manager Console 9.x, a manual data load fails with the following error:

ka04W000000OeVxQAK_0EM440000002Ayo.jpeg

Sample Code/Error
The Server Definition was not loaded correctly, this could be because there is a time difference between your Intelligence Server and your Database Server. Please check your settings and try again.

CAUSE:
A possible cause for this issue is that there are incomplete migrations recorded in table EM_IS_LAST_UPDATE.

ACTION:
Update the table EM_IS_LAST_UPDATE to have '1' as the value for column IS_STATUS for every row that has '0' except for  the very first row that reads:

ka04W000000OeVxQAK_0EM440000002Az4.jpeg

The first row must have '0' as the IS_STATUS value. Once the EM_IS_LAST_UPDATE table is updated the data load will run.

Warehouse Modification WARNING

Manually editing values in the Strategy Enterprise Manager warehouse incorrectly may cause serious, project-wide problems that may make your project unusable. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. Users are strongly encouraged to backup warehouse prior to any alteration.
