This issue is usually user-specific.

ACTION:
Follow the steps below to solve this issue:

  1. Logon to Windows as the user that is having the display issue;
  2. Close the Narrowcast Administrator console;
  3. Back up the registry;
  4. Delete the following two registry keys:
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MicroStrategy\Broadcast Server\Admin Browser
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MicroStrategy\Broadcast Server\Object Manager
  5. Open the Narrowcast Administrator console again. These two keys will be recreated automatically with default values.

WARNING
Modifying registry values incorrectly may cause serious, system-wide problems that may require the re-installation of Microsoft Windows NT. Any edit of the registry is done at the user's own risk. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. If using Microsoft Windows NT, the user should backup the registry and/or update an Emergency Repair Disk (ERD) prior to alterations
