ScanMD custom tests incorporate new fixes into ScanMD. The following procedure describes how to install and use a ScanMD custom test.
When a ScanMD custom test is required, Strategy technical Support will provide a zip file which contains:
a) A .dll file, which is the actual custom test;
b) A Readme file with the instructions to run the custom test along with a description of what it does.
Installing the Custom Test
1. Start ScanMD;
2. Go to Step 3, and click "Add test"
3. Select the dll file mentioned above.
The custom test will now be available in the list of available tests as shown in the screenshot below:
In order to run the custom test, select it from the list of available custom tests.
