The following error occurs when performing an LDAP test connection in Strategy Desktop 9.x:


An error occurred during authentication. Please contact your administrator: LDAP Server error (34): Invalid DN syntax.

CAUSE:
One possible cause is that the Authentication User Distinguished Name is not a valid distinguished name.
ACTION:
Contact the LDAP administrator to get a valid Authentication User Distinguished Name.
