SUMMARY
This Technical note covers how logging is not available by default with Strategy Analytics Desktop 10.x.
DESCRIPTION
When using MAD users will note that while the MAD install folder contains a DSSerrors.log file nothing is ever entered into it even if errors are seen in the product.
CAUSE
This is expected behavior. By default all logging is disabled for MAD to improve performance and reduce the memory imprint.
ACTION
If errors are seen in MAD obtain the message from the GUI. If further troubleshooting is necessary contact Strategy Technical Support for assistance in investigating the errors within MAD.
