KB320194: Drop-down filters allowing multiple selections display incorrectly after delivered via emails or exported to PDF in Visual Insight from Microstrategy Web

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
When VI Dashboard are delivered in emails or exported to PDF from Strategy Web 10.x, the drop-down filters allowing multiple selections display incorrectly,as showed below, while if the filter doesn't allow multiple selections,it display well.

 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• From Web create a VI Dashboard, and add a drop-down filter allowing multiple selections.
  

• Save the VI Dashboard, and use "Send Now" option or "Schedule delivery to Email" with PDF format, or Export to PDF. The filter doesn't display in the delivered or exported PDF file.

CAUSE:
This is a known limitation in Strategy 10.x.
ACTION:
Issue was not fixed for VI. From version 10.11 the filter information is included in exported PDF in dossier.
