SUMMARY:
This technical note documents a behavior observed when using the metric editor through Visual Insight, in Strategy Web 10.x.
SYMPTOM:
The functions stored in the Data Mining folder are not visible when using the Visual Insight metric editor, as shown below:
However, the r functions can be used by copying and pasting them in the editor.
CAUSE:
This behavior appears to be by design.
ACTION:
An Enhancement Request has been logged to make those functions visible.
WORKAROUND:
As a workaround, copy and paste into the metric editor the function to be used.
